Our history in sleep diagnosis
For almost 35 years, CIDELEC has been designing and manufacturing polygraphy and polysomnography devices (based on PneaVoX® technology) that help healthcare professionals better understand the sleep disorders suffered by their patients.
Over the past three decades, CIDELEC has built up a wealth of scientific expertise in the diagnosis of sleep disorders. Our commitment to research and development, training and service has helped us to continually improve our diagnostic solutions (products and software) for the benefit of doctors and their patients.
1987
The Centre du Sommeil [Sleep Centre] at Angers University Hospital, headed by Professor Jean-Louis Racineux, is working with the research laboratory of the École Supérieure d’Électronique de l’Ouest (ESEO), headed by Jean Pinguet. The aim of this collaboration is to develop a system for listening to patients’ breathing while they sleep.
