What is respiratory polygraphy ?
Respiratory polygraphy is a non-invasive test used to diagnose sleep-disordered breathing, such as sleep apnea. Consisting of relatively light equipment, it can be performed at home. At CIDELEC, this examination records several physiological parameters, including :
- A nasal cannula to record airflow.
- An index finger oximeter to monitor blood oxygenation.
- Two inductive straps (thoracic and abdominal) to measure respiratory movements.
- A luminosity sensor.
- A positioning sensor.
- A movement sensor.
- Our PneaVoX® sensor, placed on the neck, to detect respiratory sounds, snoring and supra-sternal pressure.

CID-LX

The CID-LX-206d has a pressure channel for connecting a pneumotachograph.
CID-LXa
The CID-LXa is a portable repiratory polygraph offering a more accurate diagnosis of sleep disorders. Thanks to its three electrophysiological channels (EEG, ECG and double leg EMG) and HypnoLighT technology, this polygraph can discriminate between wakefulness and sleep.
