We are pleased to announce the arrival of two new devices in the Hypnea range, available starting July 1st: the AH02 Docking Station and the PR05 wireless pneumotachograph.
Designed to enhance the efficiency and simplicity of your recordings, both accessories are fully compatible with Hypnea polygraphs and polysomnographs.
The wireless pneumotachograph (PR05) for constraint-free recordings
Designed by CIDELEC, the pneumotachograph is specifically developed for recordings under therapy devices (CPAP, BiPAP, NIV) with the Hypnea range.
What is it used for?
It enables the performance of polygraphy and polysomnography under therapy devices by recording flow and pressure during sleep.
How does it work?
- The PR05 connects via Bluetooth to either a Hypnea 3 or a Hypnea 2 device.
- The recording is scheduled as usual.
- Setup is simple: red port to the mask, blue port to the therapy device.
- In the morning, the data is retrieved using the usual transfer method.
Advantages of the pneumotachograph:
- No wires between the patient and the polygraph, allowing greater freedom of movement and enabling the patient to get up easily during the night.
- Precise, objective measurements independent of pressure and flow.
- Compatible with the Hypnea polygraph for ventilation recordings, regardless of the setting (home or hospital).
